This Za'atar Flatbread recipe combines the flavors of the Middle East with the convenience of flatbread.  You can make your own flatbread as this recipe suggests, or just buy some and brush it with olive oil and sprinkle with Za'atar.

The za'atar spice blend adds a unique and aromatic taste to the crispy flatbread, perfect for snacking or as a side dish.

Recipe:

Flatbread with Za’atar### Oven Temperature:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).### Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (additional for dusting)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2-3 tablespoons Za’atar spice mix
- Additional olive oil for brushing### Prep Steps:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
2. Slowly add the warm water to the flour mixture, mixing as you pour. Add the olive oil and continue to knead the dough until it forms a smooth, elastic ball.
3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
4. Preheat your oven to the specified temperature and place a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat up.
5. Divide the dough into equal-size portions depending on the desired size of your flatbreads.
6. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each portion of dough into a thin circle, about 1/8 inch thick.
7. Brush one side of each flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle a generous amount of Za’atar over the oiled surface.### Cooking Time:
1. Carefully place the flatbread, oiled side up, onto the preheated baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.
2. Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the flatbread is cooked through.### Final Steps:
1. Remove the flatbread from the oven and if desired, brush lightly with additional olive oil.
