Easy Portuguese Chicken (or Pork) with Buck's Portuguese Blend

This versatile recipe makes a delicious meal for 4.  Serve with rice or potatoes, and vegetable of choice or salad.

#### Ingredients

- 4 boneless chicken breasts or pork chops
- 2 tbsp Buck's Portuguese Blend
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine (for deglazing)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving

#### Steps

- **Marinate the Protein**:
- Season both sides of the chicken or pork with Buck's Portuguese Blend and salt.
- Rub the minced garlic onto the meat, making sure it's well coated.
- Drizzle olive oil over the meat and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer for more flavor.

- **Cook the Protein**:

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the marinated chicken or pork.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for chicken breasts (or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C), and 5-7 minutes per side for pork chops (or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F/63°C).

- **Deglaze & Serve**:

- Remove the meat and set aside, keeping it warm.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine, scraping up any browned bits for extra flavor.
- Pour the resulting sauce over the cooked meat.

- **Garnish & Enjoy**:

- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges and your choice of sides such as rice, roasted potatoes, salad.
