Tasmannia lanceolata, also known as mountain pepper, is a delicious and spicy dried berry, used just as one would black pepper. It is much beloved in Antipodean cuisine for its fruity- and floral-forward flavor and lingering spice finish. Typical applications are red meat, beet relish, or infusing cordials. A little goes a very long way. Though not yet well known in North America, we are very excited to present this unusual and delicious pepper!
