Muira Puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides) — Cut & Sifted, 1 oz

Traditional Amazonian "Potency Wood"

Muira Puama is a small tree native to the Brazilian Amazon, where its bark and root have been used for generations in traditional herbal preparations. Long known as "potency wood," it has a rich history of traditional use as a tonic for vitality, stamina, and romantic wellness in both men and women.

This cut & sifted bark/root is ideal for traditional decoctions (simmered teas), tinctures, and other herbal preparations. Its coarse-cut form allows for efficient extraction of the plant's naturally occurring compounds when prepared using heat or alcohol.

Product Details:

  • Form: Cut & Sifted (C/S)
  • Part Used: Bark and root
  • Origin: Brazil
  • Net Weight: 1 oz (28g)
  • Packaging: Resealable, light-protective bag for freshness

Traditional Preparation:
For a traditional decoction, simmer approximately 1–1.5 grams (about ½–1 teaspoon) of cut root/bark in water for 10–15 minutes. Because active constituents are better drawn out with heat, simmering — rather than steeping — is traditionally recommended. Strain and enjoy warm.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve potency.
