Thai roasted chili paste is a common ingredient used in Thai cooking. Our Thai Roasted Red Curry Paste is authentic, from Thailand and is a versatile and flavorful base for a variety of Thai dishes. In its most basic form, it consists of red chili peppers, garlic, sea salt, lemongrass, turmeric, and shrimp paste.
Use half of this jar with a can of sweetened coconut milk and fish sauce to taste to make a quick, delicious, spicy and sweet Thai chili meal every bit as good as what your get at a Thai restaurant. Add the protein of your choice or just vegetables (any) and serve with rice. Will moderate heat: doable without setting your mouth on fire. Increase the heat with the addition a little birds-eye pepper (sold here too). Simple, filling, delicious, and amazing!
