The terms "Piri Piri" and "Peri Peri" often refer to many individual and personal and even regional varieties of spicy/citrusy blends. It's like many blends in that way: a matter of preference and ingredient availability.
Our Piri Piri blend is a perfect companion for the gourmet who appreciates fine spicy ingredients! We combine Piri Piri pepper powder, organic orange peel, organic smoky Hungarian paprika, and organic garlic, for a sweet/hot/garlic thang you're going to love. Just sprinkle it as is atop whatever you want to season, or do what I did: mix 1/3 of this vial with about 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Take an entire chicken, cut into pieces, with skin, and dredge each piece in this sauce. Of course you could do this with any protein or in fact vegetables. But I used to chicken so I’ll describe what I did : Take the dredged chicken and put it on a pan in the preheated oven at 375 for 45 minutes. Pull it out, and you’re done ! You’ll love the results. It’s got enough warm spicy heat so that your lips will feel it, and the citrusy smoky garlicky thing is great.
